Paris, Paris! Honestly my first coming to Paris 3 years ago was not so chill but I just realised that more I come there more I love it ahah! Why? Probably because I better know the city and overall cause one of my first passion is to find the best chillin spots in town I guess! Constlantly chasing the right place to lounge about I think that I just found with The Peninsula Paris the best compromise between luxury and togetherness.
Was sick to see how sometimes, over lunch, you feel this kind of unique atmosphere that takes you out of yourself. I’ve been there upon a lunch at The Lobby with a young talented photographer Julie Stiglio and we were both of us transported by every single details: from the spectacular decoration to the attentive service passing by the background chill music and obviously the exceptinal dishes, impressive!
As recommendations, the Menu du Marché is always a safe bet with a pretty nice combo of seasonal products selected by the Head Chef Laurent Poitevin. If you opt for ‘A la carte’ I deeply recommend the following combo: the country-style poultry from the “Landes” region as starter followed by the fish of your choice (special mention for the perfect cooking) and a full plate of red berries with a side of vanilla ice covered with home-made crumble.
After this we enjoyed ramble through the Hotel, enjoyable to discover the special Peninsula yurt, part of Le Bar Kléber tentatively one of my favorite spot where you imagine yourself for few seconds in Mongolia.
Keep going through the hallways the Lili seems to be the right restaurant for chinese foodies, now on my list for an intimate dinner during my next stay in Paris.
Still a little low on energy after our epic lunch we decided to round of this exploration taking the lift to reach the roof top! L’oiseau blanc is basically the place to be in the capital with stunning views over the city and a breathtaking terrace…Chill wide open 😎
I finally made up my mind so I am now happy to have found the best place in Paris for a an endless invitation to ‘Inspiration through Exploration’ 😉
